Amanda Burns
After twelve years of working with children in a teaching role, I finally had the opportunity to follow my passion for a career in mental health when I completed my Playtherapy training with PTUK. I am a fully qualified Playtherapist with experience in working with a variety of issues. In addition to this, I have specialist bereavement training and experience of working with children who have lost a loved one. I am also a certified Autplay provider which is a specific form of play therapy designed to address the mental health needs of neurodivergent children and their families. I have a commitment to the families and children that I work with, and I am an impassioned advocate of children’s mental health.
