I am a certified Play Therapist with seven years experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Before I started my journey as a Play Therapist, I was a Montessori teacher for 10 years. Here is where I gained my first insight into the importance of play and how it is one of the best ways to connect and support a child. I feel passionately about the powers of play and how it helps children heal. During Play Therapy children are able to work through their difficulties in a safe, trusting and non-judgemental space. It is an absolute honour to be able to provide children the freedom to explore and be themselves. It has been one of the most rewarding roles I have experienced in my career and I look forward to continuing to provide these opportunities for the future generation.
I offer 1-1 play therapy sessions at my private studio in Sole street, Kent and I also travel into schools and children/family support centres as a mobile Play Therapist. I also plan and deliver emotional wellbeing and mental heath support workshops to pupils and staff in schools and early years settings.
