Hello, I am Fiona and I am a Registered Play Therapist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy and training in family centred therapies. I am self-employed and I work with children aged 4 years upwards within the Taunton to Exeter area, including Tiverton and Cullompton. I take referrals from schools, children’s social care, family support workers and charities. As a therapist, I have worked with children from 3 years old to teenagers and their families, with a wide range of difficulties. I have broad experience of working with fostered, adopted and SGO children and their families and children who have experienced traumatic experiences.
Prior to becoming a Play Therapist I worked as a primary school teacher and with an independent adoption agency with adopted families. I have a particular interest in adoption and fostering, trauma, polyvagal and somatic work, and in working with families to help strengthen their relationships.

 


Qualification: Accredited Play Therapist , Certified Supervisor of Play and Creative Arts Therapist
