Florence Walker
I am a wife and mother of two children, and the proud grandmother of 4 grandchildren. I have worked with preschool children since 1991.
With my years of experience, I always felt that some children just needed the provision of having
A space to enable them to play out their experiences and lead them into a healthier head space to develop them to their full potential.
I became so interested in the healing of trauma and other childhood issues through therapeutic play therapy, that I started on my journey of becoming a fully qualified Play therapist 2017. I graduated in July 2020 and have currently provided well in excess of 1500 clinical hours of sessions to clients within a school setting and also at my own Play therapy space situated at my home premises. I am also trained in the use and application of Rhythmic movement, to aid in the integration of primitive retained reflexes.
I provide a safe, confidential and caring environment which allows the child to play with as few limits as possible but as many as are necessary for safety. This allows healing to occur on many levels.
