Gemma is a certified Play Therapist. She is experienced in supporting children aged 5-17 and their parents within children’s services, child mental health charity and school settings, with their emotional well-being and mental health. Through 1:1 sessions, parent and professional training and multidisciplinary work within services such as CAMHS, in an advisory capacity. Gemma is trained in Parent Child Attachment Play, Level 1 Theraplay, Trauma Informed Care and Developmental Trauma, Including Children’s Accelerated Trauma Technique for PTSD, Neurodivergent Play Therapy techniques and has a first class honours degree in Early Childhood Education. Gemma also has a background in holistic therapies, healthcare and education.
