My name is Helen, and I am an integrative psychotherapist, registered with the BACP, who has a background in alternative provision education, counselling and have been working with children and young people for 14 years. I am qualified to postgraduate level 7 in integrative therapy and follow a trauma informed approach, CBT informed work, person centred and use creative methods to support children and young people, meeting them where there are at and working to adapt methods to fit their needs. I currently work in a community CAMHS with children of all ages providing therapy and care coordination and am a trainee play therapist.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, low mood, ASD, ADHD, relationship, and family difficulties, eating difficulties, OCD, trauma and a wide range of other difficulties. I offer a non judgemental space to explore what needs you have and work together to problem solve, explore, formulate and understand or simply listen.
