As a Play Therapist, a mother and a teacher for 25+ years, I have had a range of experience
working with young people and I am passionate about making their lives better.
After teaching across three continents, I noticed that regardless of location, the growing diversity
of our children’s needs was consistent.
I returned to Aotearoa, my home country, to share my knowledge and passion through Play
Therapy.
I offer my services from two Playrooms in Hastings and Havelock North. For children who are
not able to visit, I will bring a mobile Play Therapy toolkit to them.
I work with children (individuals and groups) who are experiencing one of life’s stresses: trauma,
anxiety, separation, death, illness, violence or social difficulties.
Prior to starting an episode of Play Therapy, I offer an introductory session to see if a child finds
the process helpful.
