Lucy Chewins

I’m Lucy (she/ her), the founder of Green Sky Counselling. I am a Counsellor, Therapeutic Play Practitioner and Eco Therapist, working privately with children aged 5+ who may be experiencing difficulties or finding it hard to make sense of their world.

I work as an early help intervention, to prevent mental health difficulties from becoming more significant. Some of the struggles your child may be experiencing could be separation anxiety, parental separation, stress/general anxiety, confidence, school-related worries, understanding their thoughts and feelings, resilience, and friendship issues among other concerns.

Therapeutic Play Counselling sessions will be provided one-to-one from my therapeutic playroom in Poole. Integrating Therapeutic Play as a foundation of your child’s counselling sessions has huge benefits in enabling children to explore what is troubling them non-confrontationally and at their own pace. When weather appropriate, your child will also have the option of integrating Eco-Therapy into their sessions from on-site. This is nature-based therapeutic play, still using symbols and metaphors to convey and explore your child’s inner world.

I am a registered member of the PTUK and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
