Patricia Rogers

Patricia Rogers Bsc, PGCert, PGDip
Play and Creative Arts therapist

I am passionate about children and deeply committed to supporting the mental health and development of children and young people. I have an integrative and holistic approach, grounded in the belief that every child has an innate capacity for achieving well-being. Through a diverse range of creative arts media and play techniques, I help children express their inner world, empowering them to develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges both at present and in the future.

My journey into Play and Creative Arts Therapy for Children and Young People began after over a decade of managing my own early childhood education setting. I have since brought my expertise to several primary schools in West London, where I provide a safe and supportive environment for children to work through issues such as bereavement, severe anxiety, dyslexia, low self-esteem, domestic violence, aggressive behaviour, depression, ADHD, and autism. I am also undergoing advanced training in TraumaPlay to enhance my work with PTSD, medical trauma, and other traumatic experiences, and I am certified in AutPlay therapy, specifically designed to support neurodivergent children.

I believe in the importance of adapting to the evolving needs of children and staying informed about the latest advancements in child and adolescent mental health. As a member of PTUK’s Play and Creative Arts Register, I am committed to maintaining high standards of competency through ongoing professional development
