I am based near Tunbridge Wells in Kent and can provide both school-based and private Play and Creative Arts Therapy for individuals or small groups. I have experience working with a range of mental health issues of varying severities including: bereavement, self-harm, anxiety and depression, friendships, communication, SEN and neurodiversity, LAC and adoption, sensory, abuse and neglect. Prior to running my private practice, Room to Bloom Therapies, I have worked in the NHS for 20+ years as a Healthcare Play specialist (registered with Society of Healthcare Play Specialist) in London hospitals including Great Ormond Street and UCLH. More recently I have specialised with a pioneering sexual abuse service called The Lighthouse. Therefore, I can also provide support around hospital procedures, related phobias, chronic illness, bereavement and sleep difficulties.
