Sara Tozer – Integrative Therapies for Children and Young People (S.T.I.T.C.H.)
I’m Sara Tozer, an experienced Play Therapist (registered with PTUK) based in Maidstone, specialising in integrative therapies for children and young people. Through my practice, S.T.I.T.C.H (Sara Tozer Integrative Therapies for Children and Young People), I offer tailored support to help children navigate emotional and developmental challenges.
I hold certifications in Therapeutic Life Story Work (Rose Model), Parent-Child Attachment Play, and I’m trained to facilitate the Alumina Program, which aims to support young people aged 10-17 in reducing self-harming behaviours. My diverse skill set enables me to address a wide range of issues, including ADHD, anxiety, low self-esteem, elective mutism, bereavement, and trauma.
A significant part of my experience involves working with children in care and those who have been adopted, providing a secure and nurturing environment to help them process complex emotions. My approach includes sand tray work, clay, messy play, and a variety of creative activities, offering children non-verbal ways to express their feelings and develop healthier coping strategies.
In addition to working independently, I collaborate closely with families, schools, and other professionals, ensuring a comprehensive support system for each child. I believe in the healing power of play and creativity, which allows young people to better understand themselves, build resilience, and foster positive relationships.
If you’re seeking compassionate, holistic support for your child, I invite you to explore how my integrative therapies can make a meaningful difference in their journey toward emotional well-being and growth.
